Williams
Syndrome
Williams Syndrome is a rare genetic condition
that causes medical and developmental problems such as kidney, heart,
blood vessel and musculosketal abnormalities. Williams Syndrome
children are small with "elfin" facial features.
They tend to be over active with a very limited attention span.
Although many of these children develop good verbal and articulation
skills by kindergarten, their speech is more like incessant chatter
that is unsupported by their non-verbal abilities.
