Meet the PHPF Family
Kelly Roberts Board Member Hi there, my name is
Kelly Roberts and I am married to a wonderful guy, Steve Roberts,
and I am the very proud mother of Abby, who has Smith-Lemli-Opitz
Syndrome (SLOS). I am a native Ocalan (LWHS class of 1990!) and I am
a Cardiovascular Technologist. I currently work for Life Line
Screening as a Vascular Sonographer. My daughter, Abby,
attends Maplewood Elementary's ESE program and I try to stay
involved with her education and daily therapies. I am a member
of the school PTO, and I am actively involved with
the national support group for Smith-Lemli-Opitz Syndrome,
called the "Advocacy and Exchange." Abby and I also
participate in the federal study protocol for SLOS in I have a good
understanding of various medical conditions and
treatments, and enjoy helping to educate and empower other parents
of disabled children. If I do not know the answer to a question, I
enjoy networking with other parents and professionals who will seek
out the answers and work together to find a solution. Please feel
