"Choose
Your Battles"
(An
Excerpt Taken from 'My Very Own Tool Supply' a book by Sylvia A.
Miller)
"Lose
the Skin You're In!"
The
Sensory Battle
I
remember the births of each of my children, some with fondness, some
(depending on how painful the experience) with a memory that can be
compared to blunt trauma to the head!. Whatever the case,
holding them in my arms once the actual birthing part was over, had
to have been the greatest moments of my life. The bond that
was developed during the nursing period can only be understood by a
mom who has shared the same experience, and as they grew, I
treasured each moment spent close to them. Then came the time
when they withdrew from my gaze, my kiss, my touch, my
existence. I couldn't bear the pain and so I had to find a way
to bring them back.
